Hi, I'm Sanya—a narrative designer, game developer, and educator with a deep passion for crafting interactive stories that connect with players. My journey began with a Game Boy Color and a copy of Pokémon Blue, igniting a lifelong love for games and storytelling.
Since then, I’ve grown from a passionate fan to a professional narrative designer, contributing to multiple indie titles including 'Honeydew, Adieu' and 'Destiny Reflections' with Team Heraldhearts and an unannounced project with Crits n’ Giggles. In addition to narrative work, I’ve taken on producer and lead designer roles—building production pipelines, managing schedules, and leading teams through all phases of development.
In 2020, I returned to college to complete my Bachelor’s in Game Design at the University of Advancing Technology. Since then, I’ve participated in several game jams, worked as a contract lead game designer, and continued refining my skills in design, writing, and systems thinking.
Currently, I teach mathematics at Job Corps, where I help young adults build confidence and structure through education—skills I also bring into my game design work.
When I’m not designing or teaching, I’m at home with my cats: Kitkat, a nervous diva with a heart of gold, and Salem, a curious gremlin who lives for snuggles. Like good characters, they each bring a little chaos and charm to my life.
